The Australian International Optimist Dinghy Association (AIODA) is looking for a volunteer to fill the position of registrar. This position involves liaising with parents to register new boats, issue sail numbers and transfer ownership of existing boats.
No boat is permitted to race in the opti class unless it has a valid measurement certificate, so this is a critical position and attention to detail is important. In addition, the registrar is often the first point of contact for new sailors starting in the opti class and therefore provides an essential avenue of communication between AIODA and opti families.
