VIODA Annual Girls Camp

The VIODA Girls Weekend was created in 2010 to support development the numbers of girls participating in the Optimist class.  Since 2010 we have seen a large increase in the number of girls in the fleet and Victoria now has approx. 50/50 boy/girl ratio in our fleet. 

This weekend has been extremely successful as it helps girls to make friends in the fleet and for parents of girls to meet.  VIODA has a number of fantastic female coaches who are great role models and are keen to share their love of sailing.  The VIODA weekend takes place in Winter (July/Aug/Sept) each year.  If you are interested in volunteering to help organise a great weekend for the girls please contact VIODA on vioda@vioda.org.au.

CAMP INCLUDES:

• Guest Speaker
• Coaching - Saturday AM & PM sessions and Sunday AM only.
• Food - Saturday Night, Sunday Breakfast (please pack lunch for the Saturday)
• BYO sleeping bags, mattresses, pillows
