Winter Coaching Program on Albert Park Lake is back!!

Time to book in for the legendary VIODA winter program - numbers limited - be quick. This year due to Covid restrictions the program will be a little different and held in two parts: Sunday 21 June – Sunday 26 July and Sunday 2 August – Sunday 6 September. One session per Sunday 12:30 – 16:00. This year we have arranged for your ASC winter membership fee to be included in the program fee. A special cleaning levy has also been included to ensure that the club remains a safe environment for all members.

• Sunday Coaching Program: 21 June to 26 July - 6 weeks - $300 (includes Albert Sailing Club membership fee and special cleaning levy).
• Holiday Camp #1: 1 and 2 July 10:30am – 2:00pm $90
• Holiday Camp #2: 8 and 9 July 10:30am – 2:00pm $90
• Sunday Coaching Program: 2 August to 6 Sept- 6 weeks - $300 (includes Albert Sailing Club membership fee and special cleaning levy).
• Girls Camp: 12 and 13 Sept (may overlap with CitySail Womens’ Regatta subject to Covid restrictions)

The Sunday Winter program has been split to give families more flexibility and allows for changes as Covid restrictions change.
Albert Sailing Club looks forward to VIODA resuming the very successful and popular winter program and reminds participants that being members of ASC entitles sailors to join in Saturday racing when this recommences.

ASC reminds parents that this program can only resume under certain conditions that are required to ensure the safety of all members.

As at mid June the club changerooms and upstairs clubrooms remain closed, with club toilets open. Special protocols have been developed and will be updated as government restrictions ease. The Club has upgraded their cleaning regime but VIODA families have responsibility for personal hygiene measures and VIODA are responsible for sanitizing the RIBS and shared surfaces. Everyone who enters the club yard /toilets or a parent assisting with rigging in the rigging area in front of the club will need to sign in in the club foyer and follow the standard distancing restrictions. ASC understands that given the very high public profile of the Lake side location, VIODA families will act responsibly and ensure that arrangements work for everyone.
