The Victorian team consisting of sailors Augustus, Callum, Henri and Jorja with coach Jack Lewis has won the 2023 Teams Racing Championship at the Optimist Nationals at Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club on Pittwater in Sydney.  Sixteen teams of four boats from Victoria, NSW, Queensland, Western Australia, Tasmania and South Australia raced against each other in a double elimination knockout, culminating in a nail-biting 3-race final between VIC 1 and NSW 1. Victoria were the reigning champions, having won the last Teams Racing Championship in 2020 at Williamstown in Victoria (teams racing was not held in 2021 or 2022 due to reduced-format Nationals during COVID-19). Well done to all 4 Victorian teams. Go VIC!
