Winter coaching at Albert Sailing Club at Albert Park Lake is a great opportunity to continue sailing development over winter, learn to sail in shifty conditions and have fun with sailors from different clubs around Melbourne. Open, Intermediate and Greenfleet sailors. Albert Park Lake is more protected from strong winds and waves than the bays, and launching from Albert Sailing Club allows you to keep your feet dry. Mum and Dad can walk the dog around the Lake, go for a coffee, get to know other Opti families or wander through South Melbourne Market.

Winter coaching can be booked as 2 separate blocks - Block 1 is before the winter school holidays (May and June), Block 2 is after the winter school holidays (July and August). Available to VIODA members only.

Bookings close for Block 1 at 5pm on Sunday 8 May - don't miss out!!!

• No lake coaching on 13^th June (Mid-winters at SSCBC)

Block 1= 5 weeks for $250. No refund for weeks missed.

Optimist storage is available at Albert Sailing Club for an extra cost of $35 for the block.  If a boat is left for 1 week or all weeks the same storage fee must be paid, otherwise please take the boat home.  This will be checked each week.  Book storage for Block 1

The $250 registration fee for VIODA coaching includes winter membership at Albert Sailing Club ($35 which will be paid by VIODA to ASC). This allows sailors to be involved in ASC's Saturday racing. Details
